Rich, slightly herbal flavor with red fruit aromas. Long, smooth and elegant finish.
Barkan Pinotage takes a grape and wine style pioneered in the hot vineyards of South Africa and gracefully adapts it to Israels land. The Pinotage varietal is a genetic cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault and typically makes dark and unique wines. Barkans features ripe plum and strawberry aromas framed by toast and wisps of smoke. The flavors include dark berries mingling with savory herbs. With firm acidity and a solid tannic structure Barkan Pinotage pairs nicely with aged cheddar cheese and virtually any grilled meat. If you usually drink Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon expand your range and try this mysterious delicious red wine.
The cost of shipping wine is $10.95 for the first bottle and $2 for each additional bottle.
