A short biography of Shmuley Boteach

Never far from the headlines, Hasidic Rabbi Shmuley Boteach is a world-famous author and the founder and dean of the L'Chaim Society of Oxford University in England. Sent there as the Lubavitcher Rebbie's emissary at ag 22, he served there as Rabbi for eleven years. Author of numerous books, mainly on relationships, and even more numerous articles, he is a frequent guest on tv and radio and is profiled in many mainstream magazines. He won the London Times prestigious Preacher of the Year Competition (the only Jew to do so) in 1999. He now devotes his time mainly to establishing an online relationship advice web site, speaking engagements and composing more books. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and seven young children.
