Like a real life 'Savta Simcha' Yaffa Ganz is a bubbly, vivacious, smiling grandmother. In the past twenty-five years, she has written more than forty books for Jewish children (and two for Jewish adults!) plus hundreds of articles for Jewish publications all over the world. In 1990 she was awarded the prestigious 'Sydney Taylor Book Award' for the 'totality of her work and her outstanding contribution to the field of Jewish Literature for Children' by the Association of Jewish Libraries. The Ganzes made aliya in 1964 and reside in Jerusalem. They are the grateful parents of five children and a 'growing clan of grandchildren'. from feldheim.com
