Born in Jerusalem, Gad Almaliah devoted his life to creative expression through the graphic arts. As a graduate of Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, Gad served as president of the Graphic Designer's Association of Israel for 15 years. The Israeli Government commissioned him to design coins, stamps, and medals as well as the emblem for the six-day war. Gad Almaliah passed away in 2007, but his family continues to produce and sell his designs.
