Two volume set of Sefer HaMitzvot for Youth clearly outlines the mitzvot and describes them in a manner that will allow a youth or child to conceive of them in terms that he/she can relate to. Volume One contains the 248 Positive Mitzvot, Volume Two contains the 365 Negative Mitzvot, set out in the order of the classic text. Each listing begins with the number and name for the Mitzvah. The second line quotes the Hebrew verse, from which the Mitzvah is derived. The third line is an English translation of the verse and is followed by a description, many times with a story, example, or explanation, and sometimes an illustration.
