This limited edition Ketubah by Jerusalem artist Archie Granot was created from an original multi-layered papercut and is printed on off white/ivory French Arches fine art paper. Green with touches of red. It measures approximately 26" x 19.75". The actual printed area measures approximately 17" in diameter. The round shape was chosen because the circle is a form that suggests perfection while the intersecting lines in the design represent the intertwined lives of a couple.
The texts around the ketubah read: "...and when I went out towards you, I found you coming towards me ...ever since you were the home of love for me, my love has lived where you have lived." (R. Yehuda Halevi - Love Poems)
