Description: The Zodiac of Time is an original graphic by Shlomo Perelman, inventor of the Calendar of the Jewish People. In its very compact and easy to understand format it portrays the essential elements of Jewish Time, Space, and Place. This artwork, first designed as part of a commemorative Birkat HaChamah poster, has been reformatted in Hebrew (Koren font from Israel) and superimposed over an actual photograph from the Hubble Telescope cameras.
From the center, these elements of Jewish Time, Space, and Place may be identified as follows:
12 Tribes (As Arranged around Tabernacle)
12 Hours of Day/12 Hours of Night
7 Days of Week
30 Phases of the Moon
12 Months of the Year
54 Parshayot of torah
This full color giclee, printed on canvas with archival inks, measures 12" x 12" and is (currently) sold unframed.
