The "Shalom" ketubah was inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina where the artist spends the summer months painting. Its message is peace and the beauty of nature. The artist s rabbi concludes each of his sermons with the beautiful message "The Blessing that is Shalom, the Blessing that is Peace. ", which is centered on the ketubah in English and Hebrew.
