Sizes are based on the width of the front panel in inches. Since it will shrink slightly after a few washings, you will want to get a size that will fit comfortably after washing. Figure one half of your suit size (rounded up to a Perftzit size, add one more size. So for example if you wear a size 42 suit, you will want a size 24 (one half 42 = 21, rounded up = 22, add one size = 24) . Size 4 corresponds to a regular size 12. Size 5 will fit an average 7 to 8 year old child. Size 6 corresponds to a regular size 14. Size 18 will also fit boys 10 to 12 years old.
Instructions to determine your suit size:
Look inside one of your suit's inside pockets. Sometimes, the size will be indicated. If you cannot find it, follow these guidelines to determine your correct size. To measure your chest :Take a tape measure; Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Place the tape measure under your arms completely around your body with your arms at your side (don't hold your breath). Measure the biggest part of your chest For example, if you have a 42" chest, you would wear a size 42 suit.
