The essence of elegant simplicity, Soul's Delight is a stunning example of calligraphy as an art form. The words, from the Song of Songs, form a medallion at the top - "I have found the one in whom my soul delights"- and a teardrop shape at the bottom -"I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." The ketubah text is gently curved to reflect the curves of the decorative elements. Shown in violet, other colors are available by special order and may include an additional charge - please call. The text on Melissa's ketubot are seamlessly printed in fonts that were designed from her own Hebrew and English calligraphy, giving each ketubah a beautiful handmade feeling.
Egalitarian versions comes standard with five blank signature lines below the teardrop; Conservative comes standard with two credited witness lines and three blank lines below the teardrop; Orthodox comes standard with two credited witness lines directly beneath the text.
English texts on all Ketubahs are interpretations and not literal translations.
