Description: Kiddush is a Hebrew spiritual blessing spoken over wine, ceremonially honoring and celebrating the Sabbath and Jewish holidays. Marilyn Davidson designed this special goblet to bring a sense of poise and beauty to the blessing. The rounded cup holding six ounces is elevated for contemplation atop a contemporary double-flared based, standing seven inches in height overall. Simple yet sophisticated, this goblet is an elegant compliment to any special dinner.
Nambe metal products are cast in a unique metal that has the solidity of iron and the luster of silver, but contains no silver, pewter, or lead. Each Nambe piece goes through a series of shaping, grinding, buffing and polishing steps. Slight imperfections found on Nambe's brilliant finish is characteristic of the sand-casting process, and since Nambe is handcrafted, no two pieces are exactly alike. This is the same Nambe studios noted for their platters, bowls, and other non-Judaica product line.
