The natural world is fascinating and mysterious in its wonder. Its annual cycle has no beginning and no end. It is a miraculous, ever-changing circle; center-less, yet with boundaries reaching far and wide.
Trees are particularly powerful metaphors for the individual and for the couple. At times, we find strength reaching out and interacting with those near to us; at other times, we find strength in our solitude. Robert has tried to capture this in this piece, depicting some trees huddled close together, and others more separated.
