The notes are glass nuggets that have been wrapped in metal and soldered to form the shapes of the notes. The musical staff, created by wires and soldered together, is the structure that is attached to the glass base of the menorah. The candle holder rod has nine candle holders, one for each night of Hanukkah and for the shammos the candle that lights the other candles.
