Nambe items made with wood may be washed by hand using a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Dry these products immediately with a soft cloth. Do not place items made with wood in the dishwasher and do not leave wood in standing water for extended periods of time.
Nambe metal products are cast in a unique metal that has the solidity of iron and the luster of silver, but contains no silver, pewter, or lead. Each Nambé piece goes through a series of shaping, grinding, buffing and polishing steps. Slight imperfections found on Nambé’s brilliant finish is characteristic of the sand-casting process, and since Nambé is handcrafted, no two pieces are exactly alike.
