This deeply colored Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in the well-drained, stoney and iron-rich soils of the Weir Family Vineyard along the Silverado Trail, one mile south of the famed Stags' Leap appellation. A rich, almost chocolate-like aroma and bouquet compliment the wild blackberry fruitiness laced with a hint of mint. The addition of 10% Cabernet Franc enhances the fruitiness with a touch of black cherry as well as adding a robust and silky mid-palate. Aged for nineteen months in small oak cooperage, our Cabernet Sauvignon will flourish with bottle age. Gold Medals for all previous vintages since 1995.
The cost of shipping wine is $10.95 for the first bottle and $2 for each additional bottle.
