These conditions have produced a wine with impressive structure and complexity. This wine displays rich cranberry, blackberry and plum aromas. Aging for 19 months in small French and American oak barrels has added firmness, viscosity and a wonderful mocha aftertaste to this outstanding wine. This wine has an excellent deep red color and a full, soft mouth feel, thereby making it perfect to enjoy now. Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon Special Reserve pairs magnificently with roasts, meat stews, grilled chicken or robust pasta dishes. To retain its outstanding character, this wine has only been lightly filtered and therefore may form some sediment as it ages.
The cost of shipping wine is $10.95 for the first bottle and $2 for each additional bottle.
