This beautiful text from Proverbs describes the virtues of the heroine of the Jewish home.... the Wife, and is tradionally recited at the Shabbat family table. This richly detailed design is painted on a subtle sepia wash in the genre of classic illuminated manuscripts. A stylized depiction of Jerusalem is placed on top of an arch and columns representing the portal to the Holy City. The outer area is intricately painted with a quote in gold from Eshet Chayil in Proverbs, She shall be praised in the gates by her own deeds.

The central text is available in either Hebrew or English.
