Description: The circles of Love, Life, and Peace that grace this charm necklace are designed by Carolee for The Jewish Museum. Each circle reverses to the Hebrew; Ahava (love), Chai (life), and Shalom (peace). In this necklace, the Life charm is 14 kt goldplate, the Love and Peace charms are sterling silver, making a sophisticated contrast between the three charms. The letters forming the Hebrew words were taken from a Torah binder beautifully hand-painted in 1946. Torah binders are wrapped around the Torah scrolls to keep them together when not in use and are often decorated with Hebrew inscriptions and scenes depicting life cycle events.
Adjustable chain between 16" and 18" long. Charm sizes vary - the largest measures 3/4" round.
