Ohev Shalom Ketubah

By Artist Albert Hakakian
18"x24"

This ornate design, originally painted on parchment, is inspired by the tabernacle that was adorned with angels. When the angels faced each other it indicated that Israel was living in harmony with G-d. The analogy is to a couple s relationship in marriage and the theme of the ketubah is to Love Peace.
Giclee Print.

Aharon (Albert) draws with his heart and mind. He sees his art as a way to advertise God, instilling in each piece a soothing otherworldliness. Born in Iran, he received his artistic training in New York City where he earned a BS in Architecture and a Master of Fine Arts. His background in architecture and illustration are apparent in his beautifully rendered, dynamic images. Each painting is a perfectly balanced and complete composition which draws the viewer in. Subtle symbolism, deep spirituality and Sephardic flavor characterize this very special work.
