Silver Wave Seder Plate - 4 Layer - Aluminum

Laura's latest Seder Plate beholds an elegant, classic yet modern design. Taking almost a year to complete, it incorporates four unique layers. The top layer consists of a silver platter and 6 silver dishes with three layers underneath for the three Seder matzos. These layers represent the three components of the Jewish nation: Cohen, Levy and Israel.

The flowing effect of the six dishes on the aluminum layer gives the illusion of them floating just above the surface. Each silver dish is highly polished to a mirror finish and can only be described as stunning. The six words representing the symbols are hand cut by Laura using a fine jeweler's saw. Avoiding the use of soldering, the components of the plate are screwed together in a style reminiscent of Bauhaus affording a clean look, and preserving the smooth finish of the metal.

The Passover Seder is comprised of 15 sequential steps; as written in the Haggadah these words starting with Kadesh and ending with Nitza are engraved on the outer ring.

On the top of the plate is written the word Veheveti (I shall bring) - hand cut in silver and attached to the silver plate with tiny screws and bolts. This refers to the future redemption and ingathering of exiles. This expression is commemorated by the Cup of Elijah, since it is he who will announce the arrival of Moshiach when we will truly enter the Land in peace. A truly stunning piece of Judaica which can only serve to elevate the soul and bring down the sparks of light at such an important Jewish festival.
Hand made in Israel. Special Order, allow extra time for delivery.
