"Anemones dance in the cool breeze, hillsides are golden-green with spring grasses, the valleys are carpeted with wildflowers, and melting snow from the Hermon mountains flows down to join the Jordan river. As the sun warms the earth, new life springs forth. Three small landscapes depict the Galilee in three seasons, from right to left: Winter, Spring, Summer. Hebrew verses from the song of Songs by King Solomon describe the beauty of spring spreading over the Land of Israel as a metaphor for the awakening love between the Jewish people and G-d."

Translation of Hebrew: "The voice of my Beloved, behold, he comes. Leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a deer or a young hart. Behold, he stands behind our wall, looking in through the windows, peering through the lattice. My beloved spoke and said to me Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For lo the winter is passed, the rain is over and gone, the flower-buds have appeared in the land, the time of the song bird is come and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land. The fig tree has sprouted her young fruit and the vines in blossom give their sent.". The text combines gently and complementary with the artwork.
